Women's Surfski Clinic and Demo Day

Women On Waves Surfski Demo and Clinic 2006 in Bellingham, Wa

In Novemebr of 2006 Traci Cole, Tracy Landboe and myself put on a surfski demo day in Bellingham. The attendance was amazing. On a blustery fall day, we had over 70 women show up!!

This weekend, Deep Cove Kayak Center in BC is hosting a similar Women's Surfski Clinic and Demo Day. There will be ski's to demo, experienced surfski paddlers on hand to give pointers, and racers Abbey Miedema and Sara Hopkins will be doing a forward stroke clinic.

The event will run from 10AM - 2PM. For more information contact Deep Cove Kayak Center.
