Summer is FAR from over!!!

It may be the first day of fall…. But summer is definitely NOT over!!!

The week before Labor Day, as we biked, SUP’d, paddled and camped on Lopez Island, I mourned the coming end of summer. It went so fast… how could it possibly be coming to an end?
BUT… it is with a brilliant 80F sunny day that we celebrate the first day of fall.

And, as I look at our calendar for the upcoming month… it is filled with adventure! With the Lake Samish Salmon Roe this Saturday and the 13-mile Round the Rock SUP race Sunday, followed by a trip to Saltspring Island next weekend and then Kulshan Cycle’s Breast Cancer Awareness Ride Oct 10th, the Women’s Surfski Demo Day at Deep Cove Kayak Centre Oct 11th, the Paddle For Food Relay to benefit the local Food Bank Oct 17th……


Did I mention Brandon is getting into cyclocross?

No, summer is far from over!!!
