Bellingham must be one of the most amazing places on earth. Last Friday, as I stood atop Artist Point with Hayden and our good friends Mikyn and Ashby under clear blue skies, surrounded by snow covered mountain peaks and hills glowing with fall reds and oranges… I felt light and giddy with the beauty of the world around me. 
If you live in the area, or are visiting from out of the area… a trip to Artist Point is mandatory. Mikyn and I spent over an hour following 18-month olds Hayden and Ashby exploring the ½ - mile Artist Point Trail. They stopped to climb every rock, feel the weight and texture of a pinecone in their hand, throw small rocks into a pond, greet every hiker going by, and gaze out at the views that even their young minds knew were spectacular!
